In honor of my anniversary today, here’s some memories of our big day 4 years ago!
Bridal Portraits
Getting Ready
My grandfather, lovingly known as G, and I have been super close my entire life. Unfortunately, he lost his battle to cancer in 2011 but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t with me on my special day. I had a heart cut out of one of his favorite t-shirts and sewn to the inside of my dress close to my heart. Not only was it my ‘something blue,’ it was a way to honor my G and and the huge impact he had on my life.
The rose broach on my bouquet was my ‘something old’ and belonged to my Granny Sansing. She also lost her battle to cancer when I was really young. I also loved having a small piece of her with me on my big day. These small personal touches helped to make our special day even more special to me!
The First Look
These are by far some of my favorite photos from our wedding. 4 years later and I still look back at these photos and can’t help but smile. His reaction to me coming down that aisle was everything. I’m so thankful for these pictures so I never forget that reaction.

The Reception
The Bouquet Toss
Instead of throwing just one bouquet, I surprised all the single ladies by throwing multiple bouquets of hydrangeas.
The Garter Toss
Fun fact, David’s best friend caught the garter and he got married 364 days later!
I mean just look at that handsome man! *insert heart eyes emoji here* (;
4 years, 2 moves, 2 beautiful babies later and I love you today more than I ever have. We are so blessed to have such a Godly man at the head of our family and I couldn’t be more thankful for you and all you do for us. You’re the best daddy to the girls and I love watching you love on them each day. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect person to do life with each day. You complete me and I am so thankful you finally loved me back. HA!
Happy 4 years, babe! Here’s to the next 40!
xoxo,
