New Favorite Drug Store Doupes

Today I wanted to take a minute to share 3 of my new favorite drug store doupe’s that I’ve found recently. I’ve been using each of these products daily since I got them and have been absolutely LOVING them! If you’re in my Facebook group (if not then get in there gorgeous, click HERE to join) or follow me on Instagram (who even are you if you’re not following me, click HERE to follow) you probably already know what these products are, but for those that just joined/followed here ya go.

Maybelline Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick

Y’all, these are so so good. You all know how much I love my Colourpop matte lipsticks, but I might just like these even more. While they’re a few dollars more than Colourpop, these aren’t drying at all and last ALL DAY LONG. They’re so good. I’d heard about these from a member of the Sweet Tea & Style fb group. She was saying how great they were and that they were a perfect (and cheaper) doupe for her Lipsense obsession. While I wouldn’t quite compare them to Lipsense, I would say they’re a perfect doupe for the matte lippies from Kylie Cosmetics. They smell amazing, aren’t drying at all, last all day, and most of the colors are perfect alternatives for Kylie’s mattes. I would definitely recommend these if you’re in the market for a new matte lipstick.

I have the shades Loyalist (light pink) and Seductress (nude).

L’Oréal Lumi Glow Amour Glow Boosting Drops

So many high end beauty brands are coming out with these glow boosting drops recently, I’m seeing them everywhere. For instance, Smashbox just released theirs and it’s $32. Well, L’Oréal has just released their drug store doupe and it’s only $11. I bought these strictly because I’d seen random Instagram videos of girls basically painting their face with a gold liquid before putting on their foundation. I thought it was odd but wanted to give it a shot. First of all, this formula feels like silk on my face. It’s so soft and my cream foundation just glides right on over it. I honestly feel like my Maskcara cream makeup is the perfect foundation to use over it. Because it can be light or full coverage, the glow shows through so beautifully leaving my skin looking like a glowing goddess. Throw on some bronzer and a little bit of illuminator and I feel like I’m ready to conquer the world.

So clearly the first picture is a screen grab from a boomerang video, but here’s a before and after foundation comparison. Can you even get over the beautiful glow the after has. It’s just so luminous and I’m obsessing over that look for the upcoming summer months.

L’Oréal Double Extend Mascara

I am always in the market for a new mascara, especially at drug store price. Recently I’ve been going back and forth between my Tarte Lights Camera Lashes and Benefit’s new BadGal BANG. While I love both of those so much, unless they’re on super sale…I don’t splurge on them and I’m just about out of both. One of my close girlfriends has been telling me for the past few weeks that I had to try this L’Oréal double extend mascara. It’s a two step mascara that claims to have “tubing technology.” Not knowing what that meant, I figured it was just another fiber style mascara which I hate but I trust my friend and got it anyway. Oh my goodness you guys, this mascara is amazing. It’s a perfect doupe for any lengthening and volumizing mascara on the high end market. Better yet, it’s only $9. While the 2 step process takes a little longer than your traditional mascara, it’s totally worth it for the end result. You start with the white side which primes your lashes. Once that’s dry, you apply the mascara side which claims to form tubes around your lashes, lengthening them without smudging or flaking throughout the day. I love this stuff. My lashes look so beautiful and full.

There you have it, my most recent favorite drug store doupes. I have been using these products every single day since I got them and don’t think I’ll be changing my routine with them anytime soon.
What are some of your favorite drug store doupes? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments!
